P&O Aurora Reviews What do they do? VideoP\u0026O Aurora Hints and Tips
They got us back to England safe and sound and still made sure we had a good time doing it. Not the holiday we were expecting but enjoyable none the less.
The crew were true professional and because of this service we have rebooked the same cruise for next year and are very much looking forward to trying again in !
The staff all were very friendly and helpful, always cheerful and welcoming. The cabin attendant was first class and always left everything in pristine condition while the waiting staff at the evening meal soon got to know us and there was a great deal of friendly interaction with them and nothing was too much trouble.
In the Horizon dining area the staff were also very helpful and friendly and again, nothing was too much trouble.
The cruise I most enjoyed was a winter cruise on the aurora. The staff in Southampton were friendly and very helpful, checking in is hassle free and relaxed.
We were welcomed on board by friendly Good journey to Southampton with no queues to enter the port. Went straight through check in process and onto the ship and into our cabin with no delays whatsoever.

Cruise Reviews. High Pressure Selling their Full Drinks package, which is okay but due to this take up, or MSC is my preferred cruise line but I was let down by this ship and some of the staff.
I enjoy a smoke with my cocktails and also a chair to sit on but there is very limited smoking areas and sitting areas on Find a Cruise.

The festive special drinks ran out after Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd October DAY 1 - Friday 20th October- Southampton Our first experience of a 2 night cruise and back-to-back cruise all in one First impressions were of a beautiful ship with lots of wood, marble and chrome.
This impression stayed with me throughout the cruise and made me think of how an elegant club would look.
Service on board was Jan The food was very good especially in the Medina and Cafe Bordeaux. The buffet was nicer in the evening when it was quieter than at lunchtime when far too many people in there.
The onboard entertainment was superb too - especially the Headliners' shows. All of the entertainment crew made sure we had fun and we enjoyed spending time with them and the friends we made at the quizzes and line dancing.
Some of the people who go on these cruises seem to like nothing better than to find fault and to moan about anything and everything - my only complaint would be far too many old and miserable English people.
DONE P AND O CRUISES BEFOR BUT THINK THIS SHIP IS THE POOR RELATION OF THE FLEET. WE HAD CABIN C NO ONE TOLD US THIS WOULD BE NOISEY,AFTER FOUR DAYD THE NIGHT SUPERVSOR INFORMED US IT WAS FROM THE CURZON THEATRE,THE BAND,NEW YEARS EVE NO SHOW INSTEAD THEY PUT ON A FILM.
DECK PARTY,RUBBISH,BAND COULD NOT CONNECT EQUIPMENT. WE OBSERVED PARTY FROM 2ND LEVEL,AFTER ONE AND A HALF HOURS NO WAITED HAD BEEN NEAR US TO ASK IF WE WANTED A DRINK.
JUMPING ON THE STAIRS,CHANGING SEATS,NO I AM NOT A CHILD HATER WE HAD FIVE OF OUR OWN. DIRTY DECK AREAS,DOORS SECURED ALL THE TIME,SUN BEDS AND DECK CHAIRS SECURED SEEMED TO BE A LACK OF DECK CREW.
My wife and I loved our first cruise and look forward to another. The crew were excellent as were the waiters in Alexandria especially Clive and Vinay.
Our only grouse was the fact that having paid for an outside cabin with a balcony C we were unable to enjoy sitting out on it as the people in cabins both sides of us smoked liked chimneys.
We therefore had to keep our Patio door closed as their smoke invaded our cabin!! They definately deserved good recompense, all of them.
Despite the major breakdown and consequent hold up in Auckland, the Aurora is a fine seaworthy ship, taking the heaviest seas with aplomb.
It is a very clean ship indeed and the staff could not have been better. The Captain was first class juggling all sorts of conflicting demands with good grace.
Smoking was still allowed on the portside of the crows nest bar, which spoilt things for the majority of patrons who were non smokers.
